This Week @ FC

 Good afternoon!

I hope that the school year is kicking off as well as possible for your family!  It is an energetic season across the life of our church and we were so excited to get back in the swing of things this past Sunday with Promotion Sunday.

School being back means that WEDNESDAY NIGHTS ARE BACK here at the church.  The student ministry will kick things off THIS WEDNESDAY with FC starting with open gym at 5:30pm.  We will have games, pizza toast, worship, and a look at the semester ahead.  This night is going to be a blast and we are so looking forward to getting back to our weekly rhythm.

Parents, don't hesitate to stick around on Wednesday, you can check out our church website for all the different programs we have for every member of your family on Wednesday nights.

We hope that you will make Sundays and Wednesdays a part of your family's weekly rhythm, but we also have opportunities across the semester to hang out outside of those programs.  I want to highlight a few that I am particularly excited about:Conroe High's first home football game is September 4th, we want to see as many of our students and families there as possible to help us cheer on our friends on the team, in the band, cheering, and dancing on the field!  We are planning opportunities like this at several schools this semester.Our churchwide Deck the Halls Fall Market is coming up on October 2nd and 3rd.  We are encouraging students to come shop and serve.  Proceeds go to student scholarships!November 20-22 we will being going to Camp Cho-Yeh for our Fall Retreat.  More details and registration are coming soon.I don't want to over inform you, but these are the things I am excited about sitting at my desk this afternoon.  If you haven't yet, we have Fall Calendars available in Building 8.  I will attach an image of the calendar to this email.
