Calling all students! Are you ready to make a huge difference in our community and have an absolute blast doing it? Grab your work gloves and your swimsuits, because our next Serve Saturday is officially on the calendar, and you won’t want to miss it!

We have the incredible opportunity to bless a wonderful member of our community, Ms. Betty Dozier, by tackling some much-needed yard work at her home, along with helping out a few of her neighbors. There is nothing quite like teaming up with your friends to show God's love in practical, tangible ways right here in our neighborhood.

But guess what? The hard work is only half the day.

🪵 The Game Plan: Work Hard, Play Hard

We are starting bright and early to beat that midday Texas heat, and Ms. Betty has an amazing reward waiting for us when the tools get put away. Here is how the day breaks down:

• ⏰ 8:00 AM | Morning Hustle: We will kick things off right at 8:00 AM. We’ll be clearing, mowing, and beautifying Ms. Betty's property and the neighboring yards.

• 💦 12:00 PM (ish) | Pool Party & Lunch! To say a massive "thank you" for all your sweat and hard work, Ms. Betty is opening up her pool and hosting an awesome lunch for the entire crew!

• ⏰ 2:00 PM | Wrap Up: We will wrap up our day of service and fun around 2:00 PM.

🎒 What You Need to Pack & Wear

Because we are splitting the day between a workspace and a pool deck, you’ll need to pack a quick change of gear.

For the Yard Work (Safety First!):

• 👖 Long pants

• 👟 Closed-toe shoes

For the Pool Party:

• 🩳 Your swimsuit

• 🦩 A towel

• 🧴 Plenty of sunscreen!
