Set Apart: What it Means to Be God’s Chosen People

1 Peter 2:9 says we are “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession.” In other words, we’re not like everyone else. Those words were originally written about Israel. In this series, we’ll look at the Kings and Prophets who God spoke to, used, punished, and prospered over the course of centuries, and see the ways He was training them to be like Him. Each of the stories highlights an aspect of Christ’s character He was forming in them.
