Transforming Relationships

WHAT IS A TRANSFORMING RELATIONSHIP?:

A Transforming Relationship is an intentional relationship you are involved in that is designed to shine the light of Jesus into someone else’s life. These relationships can manifest themselves in a lot of different ways. It could be a weekly dinner with a friend that you’re mentoring. It could be consistently meeting the needs of a neighbor that’s having a hard time. It could be volunteering at a local school, food bank, or other local ministry. No matter how it looks, it’s about building relationships with our community, and most of all doing it in the name of Christ. We’re not asking you to invite people to church. We’re not asking you to share your testimony with every person you meet. Those can be good things. But this is something different. This is creating a bond with someone while being a good Christian example in their life. This is giving someone who feels like they’re always in the dark a little glimpse of what the Light of Jesus looks like. Are you the hands and feet of God in someone’s life? If so, you are in a Transforming Relationship.
