Follow - Pt 2 - Jesus wasn’t through changing Simon Peter when He called Him. Instead, He was just getting started. In the transfiguration, Peter saw that Jesus was much more than he thought. Later in life, as he thought back to that day, it reminded him of Christ’s power to change us. Salvation is an event, but also a process. It’s a long transition from a self-centered to a God-centered life. And discipleship is more than just being with Jesus. It’s also becoming like Him.
