Who Is This God?: Part 6
Part 6: How Can God Be Love?
What did John mean when He said "God IS love?" Not that God is an impersonal force, but that everything He does is motivated by His love. Whether you know it or not, you've been the beneficiary of His love (Common grace): Ps. 145:9, 15-16, Acts 14:17, Luke 6:35, Ro 1:20. But His love is most keenly felt by those most profoundly aware of their sinfulness: Luke 15.

In a time when loneliness is an epidemic, when few people know their neighbors, something as simple as a meal together can be the starting place for something beautiful to happen.
