Sometimes, when you listen to the stories of young people leaving church, you realize they aren’t really leaving Jesus. They’re leaving the counterfeit version of Christianity they were taught as kids. This is nothing new: Even in Paul’s day, Christians were adding to the Gospel, changing it from good news to bad religion that couldn’t save anyone. We’ll see how to tell if you’re practicing the faith of Jesus or something different. The stakes couldn’t be higher.
