Part 3: Be Born in Us Today

Looming over the little town of Bethlehem was a magnificent palace that belonged to Herod the Great. The contrast is appropriate: In shadows of a place where an earthly King lavished himself in luxury, Heaven’s King was born in poverty. Herod tried to stop God’s plan through murder; Jesus carried about God’s plan through dying. The world is still trying to convince us that Herod’s way is right.
