Praying Like the Master: Part 4
On Earth as it is in Heaven
Praying Like the Master - Part 4 - Jesus is commanding us not to be cynical about this world, but to take responsibility for the mess humanity is in, to feel the sorrow that God feels and ask Him to change things for good. Daniel’s prayer is an example of a man who lived in prosperity and peace, but he was heartbroken for the state of his people, and even counted himself responsible for the sins of his fathers. How does this serve as a model for us to pray effectively for world events as well as the heartache we see around us every day?

In a time when loneliness is an epidemic, when few people know their neighbors, something as simple as a meal together can be the starting place for something beautiful to happen.
